Abstract:
Mr. John J. Muscarella from Sprint will be presenting an overview of
their latest mobile broadband network technology offering (WiMax). 4G
is often regarded as a major technological evolutionary step that will
truly bring the Internet to life. The availability of Sprint 4G
delivers on the company's promise to provide the fastest wireless
Internet experience of any national carrier. Sprint's 4G approach
represents a major shift in the way people will use broadband,
expanding business, consumers, and local governments ability to extend
Internet operations well beyond home and office use. Topics to be
covered in Mr. Muscarella's presentation include:

Speaker:
Mr. Muscarella is the Sprint 4G Director for Enterprise Sales. In his
position, he is responsible for the overall enterprise strategy for
business sales channels. His team has the primary responsibility to
develop, implement, and launch solutions utilizing the WiMax network,
delivering these solutions to Enterprise and Public Sector clients.
This presentation is being co-sponsored by the Baltimore Chapter of
the ACM and Baltimore Sections of the IEEE (Communications Society,
Computer Society, Signal Processing Society, and Aerospace Electronics
Society). The meeting is being held at the National Electronics
Museum on Tuesday, April 21, 2009. The museum is
located at 1745 W Nursery Road, Linthicum Heights, MD 21090.
