Baltimore ACM Chapter

BACM has some exciting events coming up that I'd like to preview.

On March 19th, we will host a panel discussion on technology policy at the Engineering Society

In April, we will host a talk on the new Xohm WiMax service now operating in Baltimore.

By the way, I've subscribed to the service myself, and I am impressed.
I obtained download speed of 5 Mbps and upload speed of 2.5 Mbps.

Sometime in April or May, we will host a panel discussion on the history of
computing in the Baltimore region at the Computer History Museum in

In May or early June, we will hold our annual membership meeting at the
Anchorage Marina. Dr. David Isherwood, Member at Large of the BACM
Executive Committee, has offered his boat to us!
